About Me

My name is Angelo, and I love video games, movies, and all things digital and tech—or at least, I loved these things a lot more before fatherhood became the larger focus of my life. Being the father of two kids under two is never a dull moment, but it helps immensely that I have all the love, patience, and support of my wife, who's got my back through it all. She has pushed me to pursue my dream of writing and content creation, which I hope you find useful for your parenting/adulting journey (thanks, babe).
It feels like it was just yesterday that I said "I do," then I blinked, and my son was born. Then I sneezed, and I had a daughter. So, I should really get my throat checked before I cough up twins.
All jokes aside, I firmly believe that a bad or good thing never just happens to you—it happens to others around you as well. We all go through emotions that have their highs and lows, sometimes experiencing good times and bad ones. Lately, like other fathers (and mothers, I'm sure), I haven't had much time to get back into the groove of things I love. With so many emerging technologies and trends, it's hard to find just the right thing to satisfy that itch we get every now and then—like finding the right gaming service or device in a world full of ways to play without breaking the bank, tools and digital wellness tips to better manage your workflow and improve your day-to-day, fun and educational apps for your little ones, finding that one movie or show that you and your family can connect with, and the occasional DIY project for good measure.
Rather than sit on the bleachers, I want to get my hands into and onto every gadget, doodad, gaming handheld, application, or streaming service that can bring a "digital haven" to your home instead of a cluttered and chaotic one. More importantly, I'll give you my complete and honest opinion of whether or not these new technologies or digital finds are worth your time. My promise to you is that I would never recommend anything that I would not allow in my own home or for my own family.
With all this being said, thank you for stopping by, and don't be a stranger—stay in Dad's Digital Haven.
Merry Christmas and happy new year!
